Spring Snowshowers

We’ve been experiencing some Spring snow up here in Minnesota. Since I’m in the southern part of the state, it’s been mixed with rain more often than not, so it isn’t sticking around very long. The weather will warm by the middle of the week and feel a bit more like Spring then, and I’m looking forward to it. I feel a bit like a bear coming out of hibernation. I started a new job a month ago, and I’m still working to adjust to the new schedule. It’s taking a bit longer than I thought, what with the Tax Return deadline looming and taking up much of my free time this weekend.

My husband and I are still sharing one car, and we’re busy with the new budget my new job has brought us, figuring out a way to pay down our debt so we can become a two car family once again. With him working 2nd shift in the city and me and early 1st shift in the suburbs, ride sharing is a strain on his sleep schedule. Yesterday I brought a framed copy of the Reiki Precepts in to have at my desk at work. Just a gentle reminder of how best to use my time, and to honor Reiki while I’m at work as well.

The spring snow will melt and feed our gardens here at the Reiki Studio, and I’m looking forward to getting my hands dirty as I create new mini-gardens this Spring. I definitely want to include giving Reiki to plants as part of every class, and possibly Reiki Shares that I do here. My house plants need a little bit of attention too.

Happy Spring to you wherever you are!

  1. Just thought I would let you know, the old-fashioned tulips are blooming at the labyrinth, now that the snow is all gone. I got a picture of one half-open (it had clouded over), check out our latest blooms at the labyrinth journal
