When you’ve got reiki, you are always wondering if the person you are just meeting has reiki too. As I progress in my passion and continue to talk about hands-on healing with my friends and the people I meet, I’m always surprised at who I know that has studied Reiki. My realtor who found me this wonderful old house for example. She’s a long-time friend of my husband, but until my birthday party, I had no idea that she had taken Reiki classes when she lived in the Northwest.
Then of course there are my art collectors, the ones that keep coming back for more time and time again. When I announced in my artist newsletter that I was studying Reiki, my best customers emailed me to welcome me to the Reiki family. It seems that I’ve been surrounded all this time and I didn’t even know it. No wonder that the first time I started reading about Reiki something just clicked. And my first time showing my art at a New Age expo my nearest neighbor was the Pranic Healing booth.
Moving forward, I’m going to try and take the hint sooner, because the universe is definitely trying to tell me to use my hands for healing, not just artwork. And who knows, maybe some people will find my artwork healing as well? Like the nice lady who bought all that artwork off of Ebay from me two years ago, because she wanted to look at the spiritual side of what she was going through with terminal cancer. It’s really humbling, that my artwork would bring peace and contentment to someone as they get ready to cross over.
So I created this new design for you all to wear on T-shirts and hats, your kids too. Reiki is too important to keep to yourself, or to not use or talk about. It’s changing my life in big and small ways, and as I start taking clients as a professional, I’ll be seeing them in my art studio. It all comes together, from hand to hand and heart to heart, bringing us all closer to the creative Source of all that is, healing us inside and out with our willingness to give and to receive.
Hey Beth~
Wow…looks, sounds and FEELS like you’re just moving with the energy….YEPEEEEEEEE!
Beth, I absolutely LOVE the “Reiki Origins” art work…the image and colors are so HAPPY!
And the “Got Reiki” design is just too damn cute!!
This is such a beautiful way to express BOTH your LOVES!
I share in your joy, creativity and blessings Beth!
Be well,
Ron
Thanks Ron! I was searching for a nice Asian inspired font when I ran across the one with the hands. I just had to use it to create something special!
I love the art and logo. I’m not sure why you think that reiki should not be shared or talked about. I am a Usui Reiki Master and I talk reiki all the time to everyone.
Lynda
Hi Linda,
I never said that reiki should not be shared or talked about, I said the EXACT OPPOSITE see: “Reiki is too important to keep to yourself, or to not use or talk about. It’s changing my life in big and small ways, and as I start taking clients as a professional, I’ll be seeing them in my art studio.”
The reason I am stating that is that for every practicing Reiki person or master I have met, I have met at least one who was trained in and never used it again.
